Survival: The Board Game

Download the physical version of the Survival board game at the bottom of this section. Print it and let's play!

How to play?

All players start with 5 cards (randomly chosen from the 3 piles in the center: social, environmental and economic) and must always have 5 cards, if they use one they must take another from the center. In each round one player is the mayor and the others are secretaries. The mayor takes a scenario card that contains a Sustainability problem and reads it to the other players.

Each participant will propose one of the cards they have as a solution to the problem. The mayor chooses the best proposal and that player receives a “Victory point”. The first player to reach 10 Victory Points wins!

The 3 color tokens represent the town's resources. As in real life, there is no perfect solution, you must always take tokens from the town to complete the missing resources according to the 3 numbers that appear on the Scenario card. If these chips run out before anyone wins, everyone loses! It is important to reflect that each decision we make positively or negatively affects social, economic and environmental aspects.

SOSTEK test

The SOSTEK Test allows us to prepare a diagnosis about the weaknesses and strengths present in academic projects on Sustainability issues. This diagnosis allows us to offer content such as: courses, videos, articles, among others. By identifying areas of opportunity we can provide the necessary resources and materials for continuous improvement of sustainability.

The test has 3 levels of difficulty and we currently have tests for 2 majors: Architecture and Industrial Design. The 3 levels are: 1. Beginner (students in the 3rd and 4th semester). 2.Intermediate (students in the 5th and 6th semester) and 3.Advanced (students in the 7th and 8th semester).

At each level, two main sections are evaluated: 1. Ecosystem 2. Economy and Society. From which the rest of the categories are derived.

At the end of each section, the test will automatically show you your result and a breakdown of the answers you selected in the test. Once the test is completed, we recommend that you explore our resources page as well as our blog to complement your knowledge of sustainability issues that you identified as areas of opportunity in your project.

Just open our APP, click on the "Continue as guest" button and enter the Evaluate yourself section! (in the bottom menu).
